Letter, to Lieut. Thomas A. Larcom, Superintendent of the Ordnance Survey, from T[homas] O'Conor, written from Banagher, Co. Offaly, concerning the history, religious traditions, antiquities and topography of the parishes of Rinagh and Eglish, with particular reference to their early churches, castles, burial grounds, holy wells and the origins of their place names. Included are extracts from Sir Charles Coote's 'General view of the agriculture and manufactures of the King's county', Colgan's 'Acta Sanctorum' and related Inquisitions. Original document: 25 pp.
