On 8th March 2019, The Digital Repository of Ireland co-organised a joint workshop between the National Open Research Forum (NORF) and the National Research Integrity Forum. We invited Professor Eva Méndez, Deputy Vice President for Research Policy Open Science at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and Chair of the European Commission Open Science Policy Platform, to deliver a keynote on the topic of Open Research, and the Research Integrity keynote was given by Professor Göran Hermerén, Professor Emeritus of Medical Ethics, Lund University and Chair of the ALLEA Permanent Working Group on Science and Ethics. A series of engaging talks and panels were followed by a World Cafe where members of the two fora could investigate commonalities in these key aspects of research practice.
