The Digital Repository of Ireland, Europeana Research and the Research Data Alliance Ireland national node invites you to this one day event on the opportunities created by using and publishing FAIR and open data for the Galleries, Libraries, Archives and Museums (GLAM) sectors.
The free event, to be held at the National Library of Ireland, Dublin on 21 April 2020 will feature a rich line-up of guest speakers representing a range of institutions, from Ireland and across Europe. A series of lectures, case studies and hands-on exercises will help give participants a comprehensive overview of the benefits of using and publishing FAIR and open data. Key topics covered over the course of this wide-ranging, informative, and interactive event will include:
‘How and where to publish Cultural Heritage Data: Repositories, metadata & discoverability’
‘What does FAIR Cultural Heritage Data look like?’
‘Disseminating and promoting reuse’
And:
‘Licencing & copyright and the benefits of open licences’
