DRI Welcomes Project Manager, NORF

We’re pleased to welcome Aislinn Conway to the Digital Repository of Ireland (DRI) team based at the Royal Irish Academy (RIA) in her new role as Project Manager for the National Open Research Forum (NORF). In this role, Aislinn will support the implementation of Ireland’s National Action Plan for Open Research 2022-2030.

Aislinn completed her PhD with the Health Research Board Trials Methodology Research Network (HRB-TMRN) before undertaking a Health System Impact Fellowship awarded by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research. She has a background as a researcher, knowledge translation specialist, and information specialist and is currently an Evidence Synthesis Ireland Fellow. She holds certificates in Practical Implementation in Complex Systems, Knowledge Translation, and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt for Healthcare and Lean Management. Her previous roles include Knowledge Translation Specialist at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario in Canada and Clinical Evidence Based Information Service (CEBIS) Specialist for a National Health Service (NHS) Trust in the UK.

NORF was established in 2017 to drive the Irish agenda for open research. As of 2022, DRI is the coordinating organisation for NORF.

We look forward to working with Aislinn in her new role supporting Ireland’s transition to an open research environment.
