DRI Position Paper on the EU Consultation on Digital for Cultural Heritage published

In June 2020, the EU launched a public consultation on Digital for Cultural Heritage. The consulation aimed to collect responses to the European Commission Recommendation of 27/10/2011, in order to possibly update this policy instrument to support cultural heritage institutions in the ongoing digital transformation.

In reponse, DRI submitted a position paper, which outlined that the digital transformation must cover the entire lifecycle of digital objects in order to ensure that they are open, accessible and reusable.
