DRI Director Natalie Harrower has been invited to address the OECD Global Science Forum

DRI Director Natalie Harrower has been invited to address the OECD Global Science Forum, at a the OECD-Global Science Forum Workshop in Rome on Open Data on 18 October 2017. This invitation stems from Dr Harrower's participation in the OECD High Level Expert Group on Business Models for Data Repositories, which she was appointed to in 2017.

The workshop is an opportunity to discuss the policy implications of moves being made by OECD countries to develop business models for long-term data repositories. It will look at steps that have already been taken and the new challenges and opportunities that are likely to arise in the next ten years.

This address by Dr Harrower is an important part of DRI's advocacy work around sustained access to data, long-term digital preservation, open science, and similar issues relevant to our Members.

Tá DRI maoinithe ag an Roinn Breisoideachais agus Ardoideachais, Taighde, Nuálaíochta agus Eolaíochta tríd an Údarás um Ard-Oideachas (HEA) agus tríd an gComhairle um Thaighde in Éirinn (IRC).

DRI is funded by the Department of Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science (DFHERIS) via the Higher Education Authority (HEA) and the Irish Research Council (IRC).
