The Digital Preservation Coalition (DPC) seeks to employ a Head of Good Practice and Standards to fill a new post.

The Digital Preservation Coalition (DPC) seeks to employ a Head of Good Practice and Standards to fill a new post. This post is part of DPC's 2018 strategic objective of ‘Good Practice and Standards’ identifying and developing good practice and standards that make digital preservation achievable. The successful candidate will be the principal officer (based in either Glasgow or York) for a fixed-term project funded by the UK Nuclear Decommissioning Authority (NDA) to advise on good practice and standards in digital preservation, and will inform NDA and other DPC members of emerging standards for preservation, as well as enhancing and providing mechanisms which assure the quality of digital preservation facilities and processes.
