Ireland’s National Open Research Forum (NORF) is delighted to welcome you to the Royal Irish Academy (RIA) for the inaugural National Open Research Festival (#NORFest2023). This event will be delivered with the support of NORF’s coordinating organisation, the Digital Repository of Ireland (DRI), the RIA, and the expertise of the Festival Programme Committee. Funding for the event is provided by the Higher Education Authority.

Ireland’s annual National Open Research Festival (NORFest) provides a forum for the research community to present and discuss work related to Ireland’s transition towards open research. NORFest is an initiative of Ireland’s National Open Research Forum (NORF). The Festival’s inaugural event aims to bring together a broad range of stakeholders to communicate the value and diversity of open research practices, to exchange ideas and experiences, and to identify and explore synergies.

Find out more about the conference programme on the NORF website.

When registering, you will be asked to indicate which part(s) you can join, as spaces are expected to be very limited. Registration ends 25 October 2023.

If you have any questions regarding registration, please email: norf@ria.ie

DRI is funded by the Department of Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science (DFHERIS) via the Higher Education Authority (HEA) and the Irish Research Council (IRC).
