February’s coffee morning will return to our usual online format and take place on Wednesday 22 of February at 10.00am for 30 minutes. The coffee morning will be hosted by James Smith from ‘Ports, Past and Present‘, a project funded by the European Regional Development Fund through the Ireland Wales Cooperation Programme which is administered by UCC. The project is preserving their research outputs with DRI. James will give an overview of the project, the outputs they are preserving and the methods they are undertaking to preserve their research data. Their DRI collection contains creative works, documentary films and heritage stories from the project.
Please register in advance through our zoom page.
The DRI Virtual Coffee Mornings are a place for DRI’s staff and members to come together and discuss digital preservation topics, challenges, or projects in a relaxed environment. If you’d like to host a coffee in 2023 morning please email members@dri.ie
