We are pleased to welcome Lorraine Marrey to the Digital Repository of Ireland (DRI) team based at the Royal Irish Academy (RIA).

Lorraine has been appointed as training and engagement manager for the DRI. In this role, Lorraine will have responsibility for delivering and continually developing DRI’s skills and training programme, building and engaging the DRI end-user base, managing DRI’s publications, managing the DRI’s outreach programme of educational events, and supporting the digital preservation and access work of DRI’s members.

Prior to this appointment, Lorraine worked as a librarian in the higher education sector, as well as in school libraries (chairing the School Library Association in 2018/2019), and also as an executive librarian in public libraries.

We look forward to working with Lorraine to support the needs of DRI’s members and end users.
