In this lunchtime talk, Research Data Alliance (RDA) Secretary General Hilary Hanahoe will discuss research data management, Open Science and the FAIR Principles, and the benefits of each for scientists and librarians. She will also share examples of recommendations that have been issued by the RDA community to support good practice in these areas. The RDA is a global organization with over 12,400 members from 145 countries, and is building the social and technological bridges to enable data sharing.
