Profile

Kevin Long is the digital archivist at the Digital Repository of Ireland (DRI) and also sits on the steering group for DRI’s ‘Digital Preservation of Reproductive Health Resources: Archiving the 8th’ project. His focus is on workflow and policy development for the management, curation and preservation of data. He works with DRI members to support the ingestion of their collections, and the further development of the DRI’s metadata standards and sustainability models.

DRI is funded by the Department of Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science (DFHERIS) via the Higher Education Authority (HEA) and the Irish Research Council (IRC).
