December’s virtual coffee morning will take place on Wednesday 18 November 2024 at 10.00am for half an hour.  Join DRI, Dr. Leo Konstantelos and Emma Yan as they discuss the storage media prioritisation tool that has been developed by Archives & Special Collections at the University of Glasgow.

This tool has been developed as a means to prioritise archival processing of digital collections stored in physical storage media. The tool generates a prioritisation score based on the type of storage medium, the conditions in which it has been kept and other criteria collated from resources generated by the digital archiving and preservation community.

Please register in advance for this meeting through Zoom.

The DRI Virtual Coffee Mornings are a place for DRI’s staff and members to come together and discuss digital preservation topics, challenges, or projects in a relaxed environment. If you would like to host a coffee morning in 2025 please email members@dri.ie

DRI is funded by the Department of Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science (DFHERIS) via the Higher Education Authority (HEA) and the Irish Research Council (IRC).
