As part of National Heritage Week 2020, the DRI explored the theme of 'Heritage on your Doorstep' by conducting interviews with our members where we discussed how their archival collections highlight the memories, objects, and stories of diverse communities across Ireland. Visit the DRI blog to learn more about the importance of digitally preserving, and facilitating access to, our shared digital cultural heritage.

Instead of holding events, this year the Heritage Council are showcasing research projects exploring ‘Learning from our Heritage’ as part of National Heritage Week 2020.  The DRI have chosen to explore the sub-theme of 'Heritage at your Doorstep' through highlighting the archival collections of some of our members, which include memories, objects, and stories of diverse communities across Ireland. Read more about DRI's contribution to Heritage Week on the DRI blog.
