The Research Data Alliance is holding a webinar on 21 March at 14:00 CET, 13:00 UTC introducing the work of RDA and encouraging new people to become active.

Description

For many who are not so deeply involved RDA is a jungle of activities, partly related with each other, making it difficult to understand what’s going on and how one could get involved and effectively contribute.

In this webinar participants will hear presentations from two RDA long term influencers, who want to encourage new people to get active in RDA: Leif Laaksonen and Peter Wittenburg.

Peter and Leif will guide us through RDA in general, answer to questions like what RDA has to offer, how one can take part in RDA activities and why active collaboration around RDA is crucial for everyone interested in sharing research data.

Target Audience

RDA for beginners, no prior knowledge about RDA is needed. This webinar is targeted to all data professionals who are confronted with barriers and inefficiencies of all kinds of sorts in their daily work may want to understand whether RDA is a useful platform to tackle the problem
