Explore digital cultural heritage with the Digital Repository of Ireland!
Join staff from the Digital Repository Ireland (DRI) on Culture Night in the Royal Irish Academy (RIA) to find out more about the wealth of research data and cultural heritage collections that can be explored in the Repository! Collections include An Post Museum & Archive’s Irish Postage Stamp Collection, reproductive rights campaign material published by the Archiving Reproductive Health project, the Clare Grand Jury collection, Sybil Connolly Design Sketches from the Hunt Museum in Limerick, the Fáilte Ireland Tourism Photographic Collection published by Dublin City Library & Archive, the Clarke Stained Glass Studios Collection published by Trinity College Dublin Library, and many more.
DRI staff members will be on hand to talk about the work of the National Open Research Forum (NORF), the driving force behind Ireland’s transition towards on open research environment, which is coordinated by the DRI. We’ll also be joined by national archeological research body and DRI member the Discovery Programme to explore 3D digital documentation and the reuse of cultural heritage objects. The event is free and open to everyone!
