The Digital Repository of Ireland has published its new Membership Model

We are delighted to announce that the Digital Repository of Ireland has published its new Membership Model, which details the benefits and fees of  membership.

Over the last year and a half, the Digital Repository of Ireland has undergone a significant transformation, moving from research project to national infrastructure, and from time-limited project funding to core funding from the Department of Education and Skills, Higher Education Authority, and Irish Research Council. We have renewed our Board, published the latest in our series of metadata guidelines, and continue to advocate for best practices in digital preservation, as well as the policy actions required to enable and support these practices. The membership model is one the final ‘pieces’ in this transformation. It is also a key component in ensuring the long-term sustainability of the Digital Repository of Ireland.

We have worked to make the benefits as rich as possible, and to balance accessibility and sustainability in determining membership fees. We hope that you find the package appealing, and that you consider joining the DRI under this new model. We have added a new Membership Section to our website, where you can find information on member benefits, membership fees and a list of our members.

If you would like to discuss how DRI can help you fulfill your requirements and aspirations around the preservation and sharing of your digital collections and data, please contact us at: members@dri.ie

DRI is funded by the Department of Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science (DFHERIS) via the Higher Education Authority (HEA) and the Irish Research Council (IRC).
