Profile
Preetam is a member of the technical team at the Digital Repository of Ireland based at the Research IT group in Trinity College Dublin. He holds a B.A.I. in Computer Engineering from Trinity College Dublin. Preetam is a 2021 graduate with internship and work experience in a variety of roles including Web Developer, Technical Innovation Lead, Marketing Intern, and Global Ambassador within industry and Trinity College Dublin.
Preetam’s undergraduate thesis focussed on the evaluation of personal open source chatbot technologies from a usability, flexibility, and security standpoint. It sought to evaluate and rank the chatbot technologies on various standards. The findings were then used to develop a chatbot on the case study of choice to effectively evaluate the findings. Preetam is also actively involved in a non-profit organisation, All in Tech, working to enhance tech education; advocate for the underrepresented minorities in tech; and to foster a connected community.
