DRI are Hiring – Research Data Specialist

There is a vacancy available at DRI as a Research Data Specialist.

DRI is seeking applications to fill a fixed term contract position as Research Data Specialist.  

The Research Data Specialist is an exciting new role that will lead the planning, development, and delivery of research data management capacity in the DRI, and prepare the DRI to offer research data archiving and preservation to its stakeholders. The Research Data Specialist should be an experienced digital archivist with expertise in research data curation, policy and publication. The successful candidate will build on existing project management skills, and contribute significantly to Ireland’s ability to meet and exceed Irish and European requirements for research data, open data, and open science. This is a fixed term contract, ideally starting 01 Aug 2016.
