DRI Training: Organising Your Collection slides available

Slides and further reading now available for first seminar in DRI Training series.

The first seminar in the new DRI Training series 'Preparing Your Collection for DRI' took place on February 17th in the Royal Irish Academy. Rebecca Grant, Digital Archivist with DRI, gave a presentation on the basics of collection organisation, covering the archival principles essential for good collection management, information management standards such as ISAD(G), case studies from the DRI collections and the DRI Lifecycle. The slides from the presentation are available for download here, and a list of resources for further research can be downloaded via our Publications page.

The next DRI Training event in on March 15th in Dublin. Further details will be available soon on www.dri.ie.
