We are delighted to announce that January’s coffee morning for DRI members will take place in person on Wednesday 25 of January at the Royal Irish Academy, Dawson Street from 10.00am. The coffee morning will be hosted by Daniel Bangert, the National Open Research Coordinator. Daniel will talk about the National Action Plan for Open Research which was launched in November 2022. Daniel will speak for twenty minutes (with time for questions at the end).

There will be tea and coffee available after Daniels’ talk and an opportunity to meet and chat with members across our community. If you can come in person please register in advance through our google form. If you would like to join virtually you can register on Zoom. The Zoom meeting will start at 10.15 am.

If you experience any difficulties registering you can email DRI’s membership Manager Lisa Griffith- members@dri.ie or l.griffith@ria.ie. You can find directions to the Royal Irish Academy on the contact page on their website.

All are welcome to attend!

The coffee morning series will return to its usual online venue in February 2023 for the remainder of the year. The DRI Virtual Coffee Mornings are a place for DRI’s staff, member organisations, and the wider digital preservation community to come together and discuss digital preservation topics, challenges, or projects in a relaxed environment. If you’d like to host a coffee in 2023 morning please email members@dri.ie

DRI is funded by the Department of Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science (DFHERIS) via the Higher Education Authority (HEA) and the Irish Research Council (IRC).
