Research report by Marriage Report in 2011

Context

Marriage Equality was a not for profit, single issue, national grassroots advocacy organisation active between 2008 and 2018. The goal of the organisation was to achieve equality for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) people in Ireland through the extension of civil marriage rights to same-sex couples.

In 2011, Marriage Equality Ltd was given €120,000 for a project titled Campaign for Marriage Equality. With this funding the organisation was to inform the debate on equality and civil marriage for same sex couples.
