Context

In 2010, University College Dublin Foundation [UCD] was given €850,000 for a project titled National Discourse. With this funding the foundation was to enable an inclusive, participative discourse aimed at charting a way out of the current crisis towards a re-invigorated democracy grounded in social justice values.

Description:

The thirty-seven-page long document details the proposal to the Atlantic Philanthropies by UCD for the Political Studies Association of Ireland. Contents include: Executive summary, organisational mission, and project context, intended outcomes, activities and evidence base, evaluation and dissemination, grantee operating model and competencies, risks, and mitigation.
