DRI Director on DPC Awards Judging Panel

DRI Director Natalie Harrower is one of the judges for the 2018 Digital Preservation Awards, announced today. 

DRI Director Natalie Harrower is one of the judges for the 2018 Digital Preservation Awards, announced today. The awards are granted by the Digital Preservation Coalition (DPC) and the panel of judges represent a range of interests and sectors within DPC’s membership.

The Digital Preservation Awards celebrate the achievement of people and organizations who have made significant and innovative contributions to securing our digital legacy. The Awards remain open for nominations, with just over a month left to submit entries. Winners will be announced at an awards ceremony in Amsterdam, as part of an International Conference hosted by the Dutch Digital Heritage Network and the Amsterdam Museum on World Digital Preservation Day (previously International Digital Preservation Day) on Thursday 29th November 2018.

Five categories of awards are granted: 

– Research and Innovation
– Award for Teaching and Communications
– Most Distinguished Student Work in Digital Preservation
– Safeguarding the Digital Legacy.
– Most Outstanding Digital Preservation Initiative in Commerce, Industry and the Third sector

DRI encourages our Members to apply for the DPC awards. Enter before the deadline of 09:00 (BST) on Monday 30th July 2018.
