The European Commission’s Expert Group on FAIR Data, chaired by Simon Hodson, Executive Director of Committee on Data of the International Council for Science (CODATA), published the interim report ‘Turning FAIR Data into Reality’ and the interim ‘FAIR Data Action Plan’ on 11 June 2018 at the Second European Open Science Cloud (EOSC) Summit in Brussels. The EOSC workshop contributed discussion and feedback on the interim report and action plan, while further comments and feedback may be contributed online until 5 August.

The Interim Report can be accessed here and the Action Plan here. For further feedback, a commentable version of the report is available on Google Drive.  Structured comments on the Action Plan and specific recommendations and actions may be made via a dedicated GitHub repository.
