Digitisation in a Day workshop
Following the booked-out sucesss of the workshop on Dec 13, our partners at An Foras Feasa, NUIM, are again offering "Digitisation in a Day." This one day, hands-on, workshop will provide an opportunity for participants to become involved in the digitisation of a real-world guestbook while working with a team experienced in digital humanities and design methodologies, theories and practice. Simon Duncan keynote address at IQDA
DRI partner IQDA presents a keynote address and wine reception by Professor Simon Duncan, Professor of Comparative Social Policy at the University of Bradford. The title of the talk is "Family change, bricolage and institutional leakage," and it will take place at 5:30pm on Tues 11th December at Renehen Hall, South Campus, NUI Maynooth. Justin Tonra delivering AFF seminar today at NUI Maynooth
The final AFF Digital Humanities Research Seminar for this semester will be delivered by Dr Justin Tonra, Irish Research Council Postdoctoral Fellow, The Moore Institute, NUI Galway on Wednesday 05 December 2012. The title of the seminar is 'Forcing serendipity: computing and literary criticism' and it will be held at the usual time of 3pm in the Seminar Room at An Foras Feasa. All are very welcome to attend.
