A practical workshop on adding digital collections to DRI will take place February 27th 2017

Adding Your Collection to DRI

Since launching in June 2015, we at the Digital Repository of Ireland have been focusing on expanding and adding to our collections. Our 'Preparing your Collection for DRI' course in 2016 was designed to introduce collection managers to best practices and methods for preparing content for long-term preservation in our repository. We are now moving to the next stage of our training, with a Practical Workshop on adding digital content to DRI. This day-long workshop will introduce participants to process of adding material to the repository and enable them to try out uploading a sample collection. The workshop will be hands-on and is an ideal follow-up for those who have completed our 'Preparing your Collection' series. It is geared towards current and prospective members of DRI.

The workshop will take place at the Royal Irish Academy, Dublin, on Monday 27 February 2017.  Tickets are €12 per person and lunch will be provided. Places are limited so book early to ensure a place. Book via Eventbrite here.

DRI is funded by the Department of Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science (DFHERIS) via the Higher Education Authority (HEA) and the Irish Research Council (IRC).
