Profile

Kevin is the Digital Data Curator for the Inspiring Ireland 1916 project.  Inspiring Ireland 1916 is a brand new series of online exhibitions of the cultural artefacts, stories and interpretation that surround the 1916 Easter Rising. 

Kevin is a professional librarian with a background in broadcast media archives and post production, and has previously worked for BBC Archives and the Irish Film Archive. He has extensive experience in the digital media environment, having worked as the archivist for various BBC Factual TV departments during the transition to file based delivery. He contributes knowledge of various asset management systems and cataloging standards, digital collection building and workflow design for digital archiving processes.
