To celebrate Open Access Week 2016, Repository Network Ireland and Digital Repository of Ireland will co-host a Teach-meet event at the Royal Irish Academy.

To celebrate Open Access Week 2016, Repository Network Ireland and Digital Repository of Ireland will co-host a Teach-meet event at the Royal Irish Academy. The event will consist of a series of short presentation on the themes of Repository Metrics and Repository Interoperability. The presentations will be shared by people working in Repositories and there will be time for questions and discussions.

10.00 – 10.15:    Registration

10.15 – 10.20:    Welcome

10.20 – 10.35:    "DRI Interfaces and Interoperability" – Stuart Kenny, Software Engineer, Digital Repository of Ireland

10.35 – 10.50:    "Usage statistics and Open Access repositories: state of the art in 10 minutes or less"

10.50 – 11.05:    "An upload a day keeps HEFCE away: Open Access at Queen’s University Belfast"

– Eimear Evans, Institutional Repository Officer at Queen's University Belfast

11.30 – 11.45:    "Altmetrics" – Jane Burns, Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland

11.45 – 12.10:    “The Embedded Repository” – Ashling Hayes, TARA Content Manager, Research Information Systems, The Library of Trinity College Dublin

12.10 – 12.20:    "Rewarding and recognising open access research: a healthy initiative"
